Magnesium fluoride optics and other fluoride optics develop color centers and significant decrease in UV transmission after long-term exposure to UV radiation. This effect is accelerated when the optics are resonator optics which are exposed to the fluorine mono-atoms generated by the excimer reaction.
Star Tech Instruments' proprietary composition and coating process produces laser cavity and other optics which are guaranteed to not develop color centers or noticeable loss of performance- even with high powered 193 nm lasers!
• No more cavity optics replacement! Eliminate the expense, downtime, and fluorine gas hazards caused by the need to repeatedly replace magnesium fluoride optics.
High-performance degradation-free lenses, windows, and reflectors are also available.
Standard optics are available up to 60 mm diameter, plane-parallel configuration, with broadband coatings or single wavelength dielectrics from 157 to 351 nm. Please contact us for a quotation for your requirements.
Other sizes are available upon request. Please fill in the RFQ form, call us, or send an email to: sales@startechinstruments.com.
The SCB-2 Signal Conditioning Board converts a pulsed output from a current-mode output Star Tech Instruments energy probe or other passive pulsed laser detector to a DC output which updates with every pulse. The value of this DC output is proportional to the peak-to-peak value of the input. There is also a CMOS sync signal generated whenever a pulse is received for triggering applications.
The SCB-2 is intended as a building block in OEM systems and has user-definable parameters for a broad range of operating conditions.
